Cate is a registered counsellor (ACA) committed to providing a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space for personal growth and healing. With extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults, Cate’s approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices.

Cate’s areas of expertise include supporting individuals through grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem challenges, and body image issues. She also helps clients navigate chronic health conditions and life adjustments. Cate believes the strength of the relationship between therapist and client is crucial to successful therapy, and she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Cate holds a Master’s in Counselling, a Graduate Diploma in Teaching, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities into her practice, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed interventions. Cate is passionate about promoting holistic health and understanding the intersection between mental health, lifestyle, and well-being.

Holistic Approach

Cate has experience supporting individuals from various cultural and religious backgrounds. She offers both in-person appointments in Dunsborough, Vasse, and Busselton, and telehealth (online) sessions, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for clients seeking support. Cate is also available to travel (on request) within the region for therapy sessions.

Fees
Individual in-person sessions: $150 ($135 + GST)
Couples sessions: $170 ($153 + GST)
Telehealth sessions: $132 ($120 + GST)

Payment is due on the day of your appointment.
A sliding scale is available for students and individuals on a low income—please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to discuss this option.

At this time, sessions are not eligible for Medicare or private health rebates. If this changes in the future, clients will be notified.
